SideQuest IRL helps people find and host real-world activities. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they’re short on purpose.

1. Who can use SideQuest

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding agreement. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it.

2. SideQuest connects people — it doesn’t vet them

Activities are created and run by users, not by us. We don’t employ, supervise, or background-check hosts or attendees, and a “verified host” badge reflects our own judgment, not a guarantee about anyone’s conduct or safety. You meet other people at your own risk. Use common sense: meet in public, tell a friend where you’re going, and leave if something feels off. See our Community Guidelines for how we expect everyone to behave.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give us permission to display it in the app so the service can work. Don’t post anything you don’t have the right to share.

4. Rules of the road

• Follow the law and the Community Guidelines.
• Don’t harass, threaten, scam, or endanger other people.
• Don’t post illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative content.
• Don’t misuse, scrape, or try to break the service.

We may suspend or remove accounts, activities, or content that break these rules, and we may stop offering the service at any time.

5. Paid activities and credits

Some activities may charge a fee, and the app may offer a premium tier and non-transferable in-app credits. Where payments apply, the price and any refund terms are shown before you pay. In-app credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred or withdrawn.

6. No warranties

SideQuest is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any activity will meet your expectations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, SideQuest IRL is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from activities you find or attend through the app, from interactions with other users, or from your use of the service. Your decision to attend any activity is yours alone.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and ask you to agree again where appropriate. Continuing to use the app means you accept the current terms.
